Suggestion?

Here is just a suggestion but how bout a rule on how much a player must write. For many experienced role players like myself, we hate one line posts and find them very annoying to reply to with wasting our time with our 5-30 liners. So how about we have the rule that the minimum for a post should be 4 or 5 lines.

Ever heard of "Writer's Block"? It's what happens when you're in a brain-dead situation. Not to mention that that rule would be utterly pointless in the retrieving of new users since some of them probably can't RP very well yet. My own personal suggestion is that we have a teaching section for new users.

Dude if its about our RP on destiny island. I know my lines are short but theres really nothing to write about heartless that dont talk. And I agree with Jack also if you don't want to waste writing 5-30 lines then dont write them. Just write enough to get the point across.

no its just I've seen you and the other admins post on other threads and its so small. Getting the main point across really isn't all that great, for alot of people its like your not even trying. How hard is it to make five lines tho, describe the weather, how its affecting your character, if your character is sweating or gripping his weapon. *sigh*

meh i do that sometimes but you cant always expect that from everyone all the time. Because then it makes it seem more of a chore than a game...to me at least it does.

Meh, it isn't a bad idea, but only for Creation area. Normal RP should be at least 1 line. =/

Yea but thats pretty much a general rule we have. We just usually say "give moar historiez peeze" or something.

One...line? seriously? I'm sorry but even for beginners that is a beat low and un-worthy to be posted. This is a forum based on Final Fantasy and Kingdom hearts, two popular games. I"m just saying we should level it up cause its a awesomely created forum but with such low standards, experienced players will not want to join.

Check rule #5 in the rules. I made a new one. I think it pretty much sums everything up. Glad you brought it up tho. Because you do make a good point about having a hard time responding to shorter posts. If someone gives you more to work with then its easier to play. I mean im not the most expirenced Roleplayer in the world, but i do totally see your point, its just a bit too overwelming for beginners.
